A tall tale or a simple mistake?

Well, before anymore of you send your application into the boy scouts of America for that hot paying $130,000 a year job that I talked about a few posts ago, let me set the record straight.

I would like to retract my statement in a previous post where I was recalling the big bucks I made right out of college for a nonprofit of all places! It was indeed, as my sister so kindly commented, $30,000 - which I still think was pretty dang good for a 22 year old!
Oh and I got a car - so there- now I'm just trying to make myself feel better for being such an idiot.

But hey, I have the Stanley genes in my blood (that would be my mother's side) and we are known for stretching the truth just a little when it needs some help-if you know what I mean - and sometimes we just don't even realize when we are doing it. Except when a bystander (like my sister) helps set the record straight.

So don't stop donating to the boy scouts but don't apply to work there either- unless you are right out of college and in need of a car and small income.
